Unwanted Reunion
Buddy pulled his arms back in pain and throwing the super to the floor. The stinging feeling shot straight through his arm as he held his finger close to his mouth. Somehow she had managed to sink her teeth right into the hand that still had its feeling, thwarting his plan right on the spot.
He eyed the room again watching as she yelled out to her youngest sibling. He remembered Jack very well, He was on the top of his list of people he wanted to see suffer. Though the super couldn’t be much older than six now but that didn’t mean a think to Buddy. He was the main reason he was the way he was now, half machine with no feeling left in his face and Buddy wanted to see him suffer just as much as he wanted to watch Mr Incredible suffer. It was then that he realized that the child must have been only a few rooms over, probably asleep at this late hour. The pain receded just as quickly as it had come on, Buddy got his footing back and began following Violet.
“I bet you missed me, huh?” he sneered at her, His pale blue eyes watching her every move. No movement came from the other room. Jack Jack must have been able to sleep through this. Some how the odds were in Buddys favor. His beady blues closed in on her as he moved in closer. “Get up!” his voice boomed as he watched over her. “I SAID GET UP” He was growing tired of waiting even though he never really gave her the chance to respond. He quickly grabbed her by her slim wrist and slammed her against the wall.
“I’ve waited so long for this” he whispered back into her ear. He lifted his right hand to her neck as a sinister smile danced around his lips. The cold titanium of his wrist now holding onto her neck. If she moved the wrong way she would snap her neck and die. Buddy pressed her neck to the wall and slowly slid her up watching her struggle within his grip.
Until the sound of stirring from the next room caught his ear. someone was moving, someone was home. Buddy didn’t have time for these games he knew he had to act fast, He slid the girl down off the wall letting her take in some air. Moving his robotic hand from her neck to her wrist he pinned her back and quickly reached for a blanket. It was the best he could do for now, no rope or anything to hold her down he would have to tie her up with her sheets. The sound of movement grew closer as he heard the familiar voice of one Mr. Incredible. This was all happening so fast for him, Buddy didn’t even have time to think. At least tonight he would be able to get the blood of one of his enemies on his hands. He tied her hands and feet together, tightly bonding them together with a sheet. He wrapped another sheet around her face, over her eyes and gagging her mouth. He placed her up against the bedframe. Now was the time, just a matter of how he would end it.
In those mear seconds everything changed. The door nob turned and Buddy panicked. He could hear the sound of Bob yelling for his daughter, screaming out ”Vi are you okay?” Buddy could feel his pulse racing through his bones. Should he leave her here and run? He didn’t have time to kill her now. He had wasted it holding her down. He couldn’t leave her here either she would let the family know he was back and everyone would come searching for him.quickly grabbing onto the girls frail wrists he hoisted her over his shoulders and out the window with him.
He took off down the street Violet’s body over his shoulders, her muffled screams in his ear. He ran as fast as he could hiding his body under the dim street lamps, He left nothing behind other than the open window. Nothing would at all to let the family know that he was the one who came for her.
Violet had become free of his grasp, but it only took moments for her to realize that she was cornered, the door to her bedroom completely on the opposite side of where she stood. She desperately wanted to keep screaming out to her brother, but her voice was caught within her throat. She wanted to use her powers, to fight back and do everything she could to get away from the monster who glared over at her. But, looking into those icy blue eyes of his, all Violet could find herself doing was remaining completely still as she slid down onto the floor, her back pressed up against the far corner of her room.
Over the past four years, Violet had become completely confident in herself and her powers, the teenager not at all afraid to do anything on the field, daringly putting herself in the line of fire on a day to day basis to ensure that the people of Metroville lived a long, safe life. Now? It was as if she was sent back to the days where she refused to even acknowledge the fact she even had powers. Her mind wasn’t allowing her to access them at that point as fear took over her, irises staring into the pupils of the man she had sworn to be dead, the face of the beast who still haunted her dreams whenever she would closer her tired eyelids. But, this wasn’t a nightmare. No, this was real life, and Violet was left feeling nothing but terror as she sat there upon the floor, with no where to turn.
Before she knew it, he was yelling at her, shouting at her, barking orders over at her, causing Violet to sink even lower on the floor until his hand grabbed at her wrist, a sharp cry escaping her lips as she was forcefully pulled up to her feet, her head slamming hard against the wall. “Please…” she whispered, her focus becoming blurry against the brutal force upon her, goosebumps rising on her skin as Syndrome whispered wickedly into her ear. Her current predicament reminded her all too much of those old videos she had to watch as a young girl in school, informing females of the dangers that could happen when walking through some deserted alleyway at night. But, this wasn’t some public place in the center of Metroville, was it? No, this was her very own bedroom, tucked away in the safety of her home… But the predator still found its way in.
Then, a feeling of ice met with the flesh of her neck, and before she could even begin to examine why the skin of his palm was so cold, her airways were blocked, Violet letting off a short gasp as she felt herself being lifted off the ground. Syndrome was strong, so strong, and it reminded her all too much of her father’s Super strength, the inhuman grasp choking her with far more might than any normal individual could muster…
She tried to kick, tried to scream, and while she was able to deliver a few blows to his legs with her feet, her muscles were getting weaker by the second as her eyes began to glaze over against the tight hold around her neck. Violet barely registered the sound of her parents outside the locked door, her body quickly collapsing back down onto the ground again as air quickly filled her lungs, causing her to cough and gag as she tried to gain her breath. She didn’t have any time to make a single peep before her body was tied up within her own blankets, her small body forcefully lifted onto Syndrome’s shoulders before the villain fled the house, carrying the young Super along with him.
The injury on her throat only allowed her to give off small, muffled screams as she was carried off to.. Wherever he was going. Once again, she wanted to fight back, but the damage had been done. She could barely even speak let alone move her muscles, and all she could do was cry to herself, whispering to him, “Please, let me go… Let me go…”
