Unwanted Reunion

buddypinesyndrome:

Buddy pulled his arms back in pain and throwing the super to the floor. The stinging feeling shot straight through his arm as he held his finger close to his mouth. Somehow she had managed to sink her teeth right into the  hand that still had its feeling, thwarting his plan right on the spot.

He eyed the room again watching as she yelled out to her youngest sibling. He remembered Jack very well, He was on the top of his list of people he wanted to see suffer. Though the super couldn’t be much older than six now but that didn’t mean a think to Buddy. He was the main reason he was the way he was now, half machine with no feeling left in his face and Buddy wanted to see him suffer just as much as he wanted to watch Mr Incredible suffer. It was then that he realized that the child must have been only a few rooms over, probably asleep at this late hour. The pain receded just as quickly as it had come on, Buddy got his footing back and began following Violet.

“I bet you missed me, huh?” he sneered at her, His pale blue eyes watching her every move. No movement came from the other room. Jack Jack must have been able to sleep through this. Some how the odds were in Buddys favor. His beady blues closed in on her as he moved in closer. “Get up!” his voice boomed as he watched over her. “I SAID GET UP” He was growing tired of waiting even though he never really gave her the chance to respond. He quickly grabbed her by her slim wrist and slammed her against the wall.

“I’ve waited so long for this” he whispered back into her ear. He lifted his right hand to her neck as a sinister smile danced around his lips. The cold titanium of his wrist now holding onto her neck. If she moved the wrong way she would snap her neck and die. Buddy pressed her neck to the wall and slowly slid her up watching her struggle within his grip.

Until the sound of stirring from the next room caught his ear. someone was moving, someone was home. Buddy didn’t have time for these games he knew he had to act fast, He slid the girl down off the wall letting her take in some air. Moving his robotic hand from her neck to her wrist he pinned her back and quickly reached for a blanket. It was the best he could do for now, no rope or anything to hold her down he would have to tie her up with her sheets. The sound of movement grew closer as he heard the familiar voice of one Mr. Incredible. This was all happening so fast for him, Buddy didn’t even have time to think. At least tonight he would be able to get the blood of one of his enemies on his hands. He tied her hands and feet together, tightly bonding them together with a sheet. He wrapped another sheet around her face, over her eyes and gagging her mouth. He placed her up against the bedframe. Now was the time, just a matter of how he would end it.

In those mear seconds everything changed. The door nob turned and Buddy panicked. He could hear the sound of Bob yelling for his daughter, screaming out  ”Vi are you okay?” Buddy could feel his pulse racing through his bones. Should he leave her here and run? He didn’t have time to kill her now. He had wasted it holding her down. He couldn’t leave her here either she would let the family know he was back and everyone would come searching for him.quickly grabbing onto the girls frail wrists he hoisted her over his shoulders and out the window with him.

He took off down the street Violet’s body over his shoulders, her muffled screams in his ear. He ran as fast as he could hiding his body under the dim street lamps, He left nothing behind other than the open window. Nothing would at all to let the family know that he was the one who came for her.

Violet had become free of his grasp, but it only took moments for her to realize that she was cornered, the door to her bedroom completely on the opposite side of where she stood. She desperately wanted to keep screaming out to her brother, but her voice was caught within her throat. She wanted to use her powers, to fight back and do everything she could to get away from the monster who glared over at her. But, looking into those icy blue eyes of his, all Violet could find herself doing was remaining completely still as she slid down onto the floor, her back pressed up against the far corner of her room.

Over the past four years, Violet had become completely confident in herself and her powers, the teenager not at all afraid to do anything on the field, daringly putting herself in the line of fire on a day to day basis to ensure that the people of Metroville lived a long, safe life. Now? It was as if she was sent back to the days where she refused to even acknowledge the fact she even had powers. Her mind wasn’t allowing her to access them at that point as fear took over her, irises staring into the pupils of the man she had sworn to be dead, the face of the beast who still haunted her dreams whenever she would closer her tired eyelids. But, this wasn’t a nightmare. No, this was real life, and Violet was left feeling nothing but terror as she sat there upon the floor, with no where to turn.

Before she knew it, he was yelling at her, shouting at her, barking orders over at her, causing Violet to sink even lower on the floor until his hand grabbed at her wrist, a sharp cry escaping her lips as she was forcefully pulled up to her feet, her head slamming hard against the wall. “Please…” she whispered, her focus becoming blurry against the brutal force upon her, goosebumps rising on her skin as Syndrome whispered wickedly into her ear. Her current predicament reminded her all too much of those old videos she had to watch as a young girl in school, informing females of the dangers that could happen when walking through some deserted alleyway at night. But, this wasn’t some public place in the center of Metroville, was it? No, this was her very own bedroom, tucked away in the safety of her home… But the predator still found its way in.

Then, a feeling of ice met with the flesh of her neck, and before she could even begin to examine why the skin of his palm was so cold, her airways were blocked, Violet letting off a short gasp as she felt herself being lifted off the ground. Syndrome was strong, so strong, and it reminded her all too much of her father’s Super strength, the inhuman grasp choking her with far more might than any normal individual could muster…

She tried to kick, tried to scream, and while she was able to deliver a few blows to his legs with her feet, her muscles were getting weaker by the second as her eyes began to glaze over against the tight hold around her neck. Violet barely registered the sound of her parents outside the locked door, her body quickly collapsing back down onto the ground again as air quickly filled her lungs, causing her to cough and gag as she tried to gain her breath. She didn’t have any time to make a single peep before her body was tied up within her own blankets, her small body forcefully lifted onto Syndrome’s shoulders before the villain fled the house, carrying the young Super along with him.

The injury on her throat only allowed her to give off small, muffled screams as she was carried off to.. Wherever he was going. Once again, she wanted to fight back, but the damage had been done. She could barely even speak let alone move her muscles, and all she could do was cry to herself, whispering to him, “Please, let me go… Let me go…”

Unwanted Reunion

buddypinesyndrome:

A steel finger slowly cut the window out of its frame, he didn’t notice the girl hunched over her schoolwork slaving away at her books, Had he noticed he would have taken the time to wait it out till she had made her way to bed. His hand left hand slowly reached up and removed the window before it fell to the ground. He didn’t want to wake anyone after all his plan involved slowly killing them off while they slept. Had he alarmed the others of his presence he would ha ve a house of supers on his tail. He couldn’t handle being out numbered, not again. After all that was his biggest downfall last time; this time the odds were in his favor.

Buddy placed the glass sheet down on the ground carefully making sure it didn’t shatter, he slid it under a nearby bush as he leaned up closer to lift his body into the second story window. It was then that he noticed her, The oldest Parr child sitting at her desk, her Jet black hair covering down her neck. For some reason just the sight of her sent chills down his spin, hatred coursing through his vains as he clenched his robotic fist. Sure she hadn’t done anything to him personally other than defend herself, but she was still a Parr at the heart of it and he still wanted the blood of the Parr family on his hands.

He creeped in closer to her silently moving along the side of her bedframe and closer into where she was seated. Something was odd, she wasn’t moving. Even for him being completely silent Buddy had half expected something to go wrong after all these people were freaking supers. He smoothed his fingers through his bright red hair and calmly exhaled, slowly letting his nerves ease as he continued creeping up on the girl. Soon he would be right behind her and he would have to make his move. He could easily reach around and snap her neck, a painless and quick way to go but that wasn’t what he wanted. he wanted to see her suffer, he wanted the pleasure of knowing that he caused that pain.

It was time to make a move, he was a few inches from her now and there was no turning back. He quickly reached his human hand around her neck lifting her with slight force. Had he used his robotic arm he would have snapped her neck on the spot. Pulling her back he leaned his other hand over her mouth, if she screamed no one would hear it. No one would hear her cries of pain and that was the way he wanted it.

Buddy leaned his face into the nape of her neck, his breath easing its way out as he let out a chuckle. She was in his grip now and there was no escaping. “Guess who” he whispered softly into the girls ear. He could smell the fear coming off of her and it excited him to no end.

Okay, so you carry that over there… And.. No, no, the bases are all off… Alright, scratch that last one. You carry the seven and divide by.. No, wait…

Violet’s entire focus was on her math book and the problems that were set before her, her small hand frantically writing down, erasing, writing down, and repeating the process time after time again as she tried to figure out just exactly how to do the sets of questions on the page. She couldn’t help but curse under her breath in frustration, thanking whatever God was out there that she had chosen to major in history and not mathematics. She couldn’t stand having to deal with numbers all day long, and her brain hurt just thinking about all the different equations and formulas she would have to memorize for her upcoming final.

She was so concentrated on her studies that she didn’t even hear the footsteps from behind her until it was too late, the young Super letting out a small gasp as a strong hand gripped down over her mouth, the other holding tightly to her neck as she was forcefully pulled from her chair. She tried to scream, tried to kick and fight her way out of it, but to no avail. She desperately wanted to use her powers, to turn invisible, to create a powerful force field that would shove whoever this attacker was off their feet, but then that would give away her identity and…

Wait. He hadn’t seen her face. There was still a chance to fight back!

Unfortunately for Violet, just as she was about to form some sort of attack against her assailant, a sinister voice whispered in her ear, and her muscles and body froze entirely at the sound. She had heard that voice before, she knew that. She hadn’t heard it in person in over four years, but it was that same, dark, mocking tone that haunted her dreams on occasion to that very day. She could imagine the man behind that voice; the fiery red hair, that prominent chin. Those wicked, icy blue eyes… He had been a man of power, a man who wanted nothing more than revenge against the people who had been gifted with inhuman abilities… But that hatred he had within him had killed him. He was supposed to be dead. She saw the crash, saw the explosions…

Yet there he was, his hands around her neck in a desperate attempt to kill her.

Syndrome was alive. And he was back to finish things off where they had started.

Swallowing hard, blinking against her fear, Violet’s thoughts immediately shifted to that of the little boy who slept soundly in the next room. If she wasn’t going to get out of this, the least she could do was at least save the young Super, inform him of what was going on…

Opening her mouth, she bit down, hard, on the villain’s fingers, giving her just a few split seconds to scream out, “Jack! Get out of the house! Find mom and dad! Syndrome’s alive! Syndrome’s alive!”

The words that she yelled sounded so surreal to her, almost as if a crazy person had been shouting out obscenities over things that didn’t even exist. But this? This was all real, and Violet realized that she, once again, was plunged and taken out of the small bit of normalcy she had just experienced while studying.

If she were to survive through the night, she knew that she would never be able to truly experience “normal” again.

[[Synny, I’m gonna get a reply for you tonight when I get out of class. I would reply right now but I had to leave school because I left my laptop at home and now I need to drive back and fight for a parking spot. Haha.

Unwanted Reunion

buddypinesyndrome:

Four years had past since the world had heard from Syndrome, as Buddy Pine had spent four long years in hiding. Buddy had spent the last four years sitting in this dark hotel room building machines, and gadgets the rebuild his life and slowly gaining back the fortune. previous funds? all gone, seized by the NSA. They said he wouldn’t be able to lift a finger without having them there but they were sure wrong. The world outside his window, they had all forgotten about him but he hadn’t forgotten the pain and ridicule that they had put him through. Every day spent waiting for the day he’d be back in action to take what was his and claim all that he had lost.

He had already managed to rebuild his arm in a little under a year. It was easy enough, he took the technology from the omnidroids and combined it with his knowledge of human anatomy and the zero point technology of his gauntlets and he was golden. The titanium gave him a stronger grip and packed a much harder punch than before, now he would be near unstoppable

Tonight was that night that he took back everything else.

He had it all figured out, break into the Parr house hold and end them while they’re asleep. Take the upper hand here. He would break in quietly and pick them off one by one. Sure, Mr Incredible and Elastigirl would be the hardest considering they slept in the same room but he could take them, he was built for this.

____________________________________________

As night crept upon the Parr house so did Buddy, he hid in the bushing watching the lights slowly flicker off in the household letting him know that the time for his plan to take action would be soon upon him. As the last light flickered out Buddy darted across the lawn dressed in all black. It was best that he didn’t come in his Syndrome Suit, that would be a dead give away. He reached the window. Slowly lifting his head to see inside.

Normal. That’s what that night was going to be for Violet Parr. She would sit at home, watch a few movies, and make dinner for herself and her five year old brother Jack-Jack while the rest of her family was out in the city. To the outside world, such a night would be considered nothing else but “normal”.

And she absolutely hated it.

Four years ago, there would have been nothing she would want more than to have a life of normalcy, to go into the world and not constantly hide from her peers who she was, what she could do, and keep secret the inhuman abilities she used to despise. She would have done anything to experience the normalcy she was currently doing; but now that time had passed and she had grown to accept just how different she was, Vi wanted nothing more than to get out of the house and join the rest of her family and their nightly patrols of the city as The Incredibles. But, someone always had to stay home to watch the youngest member of the Parrs, and that night was Violet’s turn to take charge.

“Jack-Jack, please get down from there!” the teenager huffed, looking up from her spot on the couch as she watched her little brother laugh to himself as he left foot prints on the ceiling, the boy’s power allowing him to break the gravity barrier and literally walk upside down above her. Violet knew that, once he was older, he would be one of the most powerful Supers the city had ever seen. After all, at just five years old, the little guy had more powers in his arsenal than the rest of her family had combined. And it seemed like every day he was adding a new one to his already extensive list. “I mean it, Jack-Jack, I’m not going to clean that mess up for you and mom is going to be really mad!” Getting up from the couch, she looked down at the clock on her phone, “And you need to go to bed, anyway! It’s way past your bedtime, mister.”

After a small verbal battle, and much reluctance from the young Super, Jack-Jack finally listened to his older sister and came down from the ceiling. He was soon bathed, cleaned up, teeth brushed, and Vi managed to place him into his pajamas and tuck him into bed that night. “Mom and Dad will be home soon, okay? Just go to sleep,” she smiled, kissing the top of his head before turning on his favorite Superman nightlight as she walked out of the room and made her way into her own bedroom.

Then, she was thrown back into “normalcy”, Violet forcing herself to sit down at her desk and bury her face in one of her math books, finals for the University she attended just right around the corner. She had always been a smart girl, top of her class, but lately things had been a bit difficult for her. Balancing the life of a college student along with the life of a Super put a lot of stress on her, and while she was still passing her courses, her grades weren’t at the particular point she would have liked. So, she was determined to get as much studying that night as she could…

So much so that she didn’t at all realize the noises coming from just outside her bedroom window.
